From our first meeting to the day when Daniel handed us the keys to our perfectly finished home, Daniel never ceased to amaze us. Our two-level French provincial style house was built by Urban Residential Developments. We found Daniel Klinkenberg, the director of the company to be a pleasure to work with and nothing was too much trouble in his effort to build our home, to both the designer’s and our specifications. Daniel’s sub-contractors were all of the same high standard and everything ran like clockwork, thanks to the overall direction and leadership of Daniel. Daniel’s team was punctual at all times, arriving on site early and working hard all day, including leaving the site tidy at the end of each day in readiness for a new start. Their workmanship was without fault and we would not hesitate to recommend Urban Residential Developments to anyone who is building or renovating a home of quality. Our home stands at 10 Tamihana Avenue, Hamilton, and anyone with a view to building using Urban Residential Developments would be welcome to visit and appraise their workmanship.

I was pleased with the quality of Urban Residential Development’s work and their attention to detail in the recent renovations at my home. Through the whole exercise we were impressed with Daniel’s approach, integrity, willingness (when changes were necessary), paper work, care, attention to detail and – most importantly - result. Daniel did an outstanding job and, I hasten to add, beat the pants off the last guy we used who, while we liked him, was twice Daniel’s age and not quite up to the quality.

About one year ago our family decided to build an ancillary dwelling on our lifestyle block at Tamahere, near Hamilton.  After considerable research, we selected Daniel Klinkenberg, owner of Urban Residential Developments Ltd, as our builder.  Our enquiries indicated nothing but praise for Daniel’s previous achievements.

From the outset, Daniel and his team proved to be very capable, efficient and totally reliable.  He assisted us with great care and consideration at every stage of the development, from draughting the plans right through to completion of the finished home.

Daniel has an uncompromising commitment to excellence.  This became more and more obvious as work proceeded on our project.  Although still a young man, he has maturity well beyond his years and an innate ability to calmly handle the constant pressures that arise during construction work.  Whilst he was not at the building site every day, Daniel regularly visited the project and maintained close liaison with our family.

As usual with most building developments, we decided on a number of unforseen amendments during construction.  These were all handled in a courteous and professional manner, calmly and with good humour.

The house was completed exactly on target and is precisely what we planned.  We pay tribute to Daniel and cannot speak highly enough of his skill as a builder.

When building our home we knew we wanted a builder who was willing to listen to our ideas and wishes, with a team producing a high quality finish. We are happy to say that with Daniel and his team we got both. Professional, helpful and friendly.  Nothing was a problem for Daniel and his team from Urban.  They all helped make the process of building a house as hassle free as they could.  From the initial plans through to handover, Daniel was always on hand to give advice and help.  The end result is a great family home.  The finish on everything from the painting to the concrete on the driveway was as if they were doing it for themselves.  We would have no hesitation on using Urban for any future projects that we will embark on.
